This course will take the form of a fieldtrip along the Jurassic Coast, from west to east, building up a picture of the components of a petroleum system that are represented along the coast (sources rocks, migration timing/ seepage, reservoirs, seals, and seepage).

Andy Fleet heads the Mineralogy Department at the Natural History Museum, with years of experience of fieldwork and fieldtrips along the Jurassic Coast. Before joining the Museum he worked in the petroleum industry as a geochemist and ran courses involving the Jurassic Coast.
