The course will introduce the general morphology and ecology of bryozoans to enable participants to understand the importance of bryozoans in the ecosystem. A detailed introduction to the recognition of bryozoans to the level of Order will be given. Common British bryozoans will be presented, highlighting the characters enabling their recognition.
Piotr Kuklinski is a Scientific Associate of the Zoology Department, Natural History Museum, and is a marine benthic ecologist and bryozoan taxonomic specialist.
