Would it surprise you to learn that the Dorset and East Devon Coast (popularly known as the Jurassic Coast) is on an equal footing with the Grand Canyon and the Great Barrier Reef? All these sites contain an element of cultural and/or natural heritage deemed to be of exceptional value to present and future generations. In this course we will explore the concepts and ideas behind World Heritage and discover the key elements that demonstrate the Outstanding Universal Value of the Jurassic Coast. The course will be led by experts from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site management team.

Richard Edmonds is Earth Science Manager for the Jurassic Coast. Sam Rose is the Team Leader of the Jurassic Coast, World Heritage Team and Anjana Ford is the World Heritage Site Education Coordinator
