the landscape, the passion from the staff, the intensity of the subject and the late nights working hard, the mix of academic and outdoors and making friends from others on the course which was made up of one and two kids from different schools , creating a group of about 25 young people.
When I came home I apparently said to my mother "I want to work there one day" and in 1986 I began work as a tutor with FSC! Twenty six years later I am still working with FSC (but did manage a respectable 12 years elsewhere in the natural environment sector)!
