Outdoor Classroom
On site your group can investigate broadleaf and coniferous woodland ecosystems and their management, or investigate pond and grassland habitats and their ecology. Geographers can consider weather and micro-climate as well as rocks and soils. The Centre is close to the River Chess, High Wycombe and recreation sites at Coombe Hill and Wendover Woods. There are opportunities to study energy and electricity using the substation. The Centre welcomes community groups including scouts and guides and also provide holiday activities and environmental birthday parties.
