Lasting Memories and Life Experiences

There is no substitute for first-hand experiences in nature. Away from the everyday routine, FSC school trips bring classroom learning to life to develop resilience and independence.

The trip allowed them to see a way of living without TV and the internet, and let their brains breathe.

Our field trips are led by expert tutors and are linked to the curriculum. We deliver bespoke outdoor experiences to allow students to learn about the world around them and to support you to make sure your trip is safe; fun and Covid-secure.

  • Choose content tailored to your curriculum requirements.
  • Spend valuable time outside the classroom to inspire and motivate students.
  • Support pupils to develop life skills such as teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Be supported with a qualified tutor to make the most of your outdoor learning.
  • Be confident that all risk assessments have been conducted to comply with regulations.
  • Have a positive impact on the mental health and emotional wellbeing of your students.

FSC Centres are located throughout the UK so you can pick the best location for your school trip. We can offer accommodation of up to 150 beds, and all food is provided on residential trips.

We’re not just in the countryside, we’re in towns and cities too. We run trips from our Centres in London and Birmingham where students are helped to explore and interpret London and its parks or Birmingham’s regenerated areas.

“The students who attended the trip said how much easier the exam was because they could remember the different parts of the river…because they saw it first-hand.”

Our Trips

Our primary trips offer cross-curricular outdoor activities and some of our Centres can offer Adventure activities, as well as Science and Geography linked courses. You can choose from a list of day courses, or put together a range of activities to meet your requirements on a residential trip. We have some sample programmes to help you see what is possible.

Secondary level biology students benefit from a wide range of fieldwork skills such as energy transfer; succession and transect sampling tailored to A Level, Higher or IB specifications with relevant syllabus content and practicals.

Secondary geography courses cover topics including regeneration, coast and place tailored to curriculum requirements for GCSE, A Level, National, Higher, IB and lower secondary specifications and packed with relevant fieldwork content. . The environments offered depend on which Centre you would like to visit.
