Epping Forest Field Centre offers a range of activities for families and children throughout the year. The wide range of environmental activities are led by our excellent trained staff and provide fun and inspiring activities under safe supervision.

Birthday Parties
These exciting Birthday Parties run for two hours after school, at weekends and in school holidays (subject to availability). They are suitable for any age group from 4 years upwards. The first part of the party is spent outside in the forest undertaking activities based around your chosen theme. The last half hour is inside in a decorated room with time for your birthday cake and party food. Contact the Centre for more details or to book.
Safaris
Safaris are run at set times during school holidays for individual children. Each session lasts for two hours and the themes change every school holiday. The participants are divided into two age groups: Little Owls for school years 1-3 (age 5-8) and Eagle Owls for children in school years 4-6 (age 8-10). Places must be booked in advance.

Family Drop in Days, Half Day, Evening and Day Courses
From Arts to Bats and Sustainability a range of courses for the whole family to suit everyone’s tastes. Places must be booked in advance.
Aimed at family groups, the Themed Family Drop in Days provide an opportunity for a whole family experience. The afternoon sessions allow you to drop in whenever you like and stay for as long as you want, undertaking a range of activities based around the themed session. Places must be booked in advance.
