Flatford Mill Natural History Bursaries
Thanks to the generosity of one of our regular visitors, we are delighted to announce the formation of a special ‘Flatford Mill Natural History Fund’. This allows us to award bursaries to young adults, who otherwise may find it difficult to attend one of our natural history courses.
If you wish to be considered for a bursary, please download the special Application Form and attach it to your FSC Courses Booking Form. To download the Application Form you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.

Please note the following conditions.
Bursaries are:
- Only for courses offered at Flatford Mill
- For courses under the brochure or website headings ‘Birds and other Animals’; ‘Flowers and other Plants’ and ‘Habitats and Conservation’
- For anyone aged between 18 and 25 when the course commences
- For 50% of the resident or non-resident course fee, whichever is appropriate
- Dependent on sufficient funds being available at the time
- Not available for those in full-time employment whose employers pay the course fee
We hope the Fund may be added to from time to time to allow us to continue making awards. Should anyone be interested in making a donation in this respect, we would of course be delighted to hear from you.
