Why not join the FSC?
Over the last 60 years the FSC has touched the hearts and minds of individuals of all ages. By becoming a member, you can help us to reach even more people.
FSC Global
Reaching a global community
There are many communities outside the UK which share a common vision with us. Working with each brings common benefits and we will continue to reach out to an international ‘global’ audience.
We will achieve this by:
- Providing suitable products and services that meet needs of overseas individuals and communities;
- Ensure that the high profile of FSC internationally is used to support FSC’s profile in the UK;
- Ensure that best ‘international’ practice is shared and maintained within the FSC and amongst its international partners;
- Developing links between our UK students and our work with overseas individuals and communities;
- Developing the viability and sustainability of this international work through links to our primary activities.
Global Projects
Working with partners to deliver training and development on themes such as out of classroom learning, education for sustainability, working with communities, communicating environmental information and public participation.
The Darwin Projects
FSC biodiversity projects have been supported by the Darwin Initiative throughout the world.
Interested in overseas expeditions?
Although the FSC does not run its own overseas courses and expeditions for young people it is building links with the Brathay Exploration Group which has been running these experiences for over 50 years. So if you are interested in building your skills, or exploring the world environment and culture away from the UK, visit www.brathayexploration.org.uk.
