Digital Imaging: Using Photoshop Elements

This weekend course is for anyone interested in exploring the potential of the Adobe Photoshop Elements image manipulation programme, used to enhance any digital or scanned image. The skills learned will be particularly useful for people with digital cameras who enjoy taking natural history and landscape photographs.

Working on our computers you will be taken step-by-step through the most important controls and procedures that you can use to create and manipulate digital images to best effect.

We will be working mainly with Photoshop Elements Version 8 - the most recent major upgrade - but also referring to the minor improvements offered in the current Version 9.

Please note that our computer network limits this course to 9 places.

The content is also appropriate for anyone wishing to contribute to their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.

Course fees are inclusive of printing out three high quality images.

Geoffrey Kibby lectures in digital photography and his images appear in many biological reports and records. He regularly teaches at Flatford Mill.
