This one-day course will cover reptile identification and ecology, an introduction to legislation, survey methods and survey planning. It will give participants a good understanding of the principles behind reptile surveying and will include a site visit to demonstrate best practice. Weather permitting, reptiles may be encountered during the course. Please note this course is not based at an FSC Centre but will be held at Risley Moss Local Nature Reserve, Warrington, Cheshire, WA3 6QX
Rob Smith is a professional ecologist with over 15 years’ experience of monitoring amphibians and reptiles at Risley Moss Local Nature Reserve in Cheshire.
