This course is designed for all undergraduates or recent graduates who would like to gain experience in ecological fieldwork skills and identification of species in a variety of ecosystems including rivers, sand dunes and woodlands. The aim of the course is to gain experience which can be useful when entering environmental careers such as ecological consultancy, research or teaching.

A certificate of attendance will be given with skills and areas covered for each participant.

Simon Ward is the Assistant Head of the Margam Discovery Centre. Simon graduated with a Masters in Ecology and Environmental Management from the University of York and has been teaching ecology and fieldwork in various locations for over nine years.
