At Slapton there's a fantastic mixture of coastal and woodland habitats rich with wildlife, colourful stories and legends. All of which combine to offer tremendous opportunities for enjoyment. Each day will involve discovery and exploration for the whole family, both outdoors and back at the Centre. It will be a week of ecology, fish catching, tracking, survival skills and foraging. Although the emphasis of the course will be to have fun, children and adults will receive real tasters of the sciences of ecology, geology and some local history. Be prepared for walking, picnics, rock pooling, beachcombing, observing, quizzes, moth trapping, evening games, night walks, art work, badger-watching, campfires and BIG stories! There won’t be time for everything, but we will make time for some relaxation and snoozing in the sunshine (hopefully!)
