Getting Kids Outdoors: Environmental Activities for Under 11s

This course is aimed at those who want to involve young people (under 11’s) in exciting outdoor learning experiences. With over 70 years’ experience in this area, the Field Studies Council has built a successful organisation delivering exactly this type of content. The day will be highly practical in order to learn a wide range of engaging activities which anyone can then transfer to their local parks or outdoor areas. There will also be opportunity to develop your own outdoor experiences through taking part in a selection of our group activities suitable for all ages.
The course is aimed at those with little or no prior experience in learning outside the classroom as well as those who want to know how the FSC make outdoor education work for Primary and uniform groups.
This course runs from 09.45 to 16.00 and includes a free pub lunch.
