GC: Wild Skills Week

Immerse yourself into nature. Spend five days with the Growing Confidence (GC) project on this action packed residential based on land and water. Brush up your wildlife watching and identification skills, have a go at greenwood working, learn bushcraft and take part in workshops to help with interview and presentation skills. The course also includes free entry to a talk by  famous TV presenter and wildlife filmmaker Simon King.

The residential will be led by experienced staff from FSC, Shropshire Wildlife Trust and the Plunkett Foundation.

This week will give you loads of experience to add to your CV and help you stand out from the crowd when applying for a job or university and the chance to meet likeminded people and have fun! You will gain your John Muir Discovery Award and it is also suitable for Gold Duke of Edinburgh.

Age 16-25

Residential cost to include all food accommodation and activities £250.  

This residential is part of the Growing Confidence Project so if you live in an area with a SY or TF postcode you will receive a special GC bursary which will cover 70% of the course fee and you will pay the special GC rate of £75.
