You will have plenty of stories to share around the campfire, and fantastic memories to take home after this adventurous week in Snowdonia. Mix exploration, wildlife and fun in the rugged landscape of Snowdonia. Discover some of the bushcraft secrets of shelter building and fire lighting. Challenge yourself with adventurous activities including an introduction to rock climbing and gorge scrambling and climb to the summit of one of Snowdonia’s spectacular mountains. Explore local habitats and find out about some of the wildlife that inhabits this fascinating area, as well as undertaking a conservation challenge. There is also a rest day in the middle of the week for families to pick their own activities, and restore their energies for the rest of the week! Activities include: Mountain climb Rock Climbing and abseiling Gorge Scrambling up a mountain stream Bushcraft and firelighting rienteering, Wildlife Discovery Activity Rating *** (Course will involve strenuous activities and will require a reasonable level of fitness)

The staff at Rhyd-y-creuau have a wide knowledge of the wonderful and inspiring habitats of the surrounding area, and of working with groups of all kinds.
