Spend a week on the spectacular Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve, immersing yourself in nature, making new friends and challenging yourself in a variety of stunning habitats.

This is an amazing opportunity to work with the Nature Reserve and Education staff at Slapton Ley Field Centre, exploring biodiversity and engaging in conservation work. You will get the opportunity to explore coastal, lake and woodland habitats whilst getting involved in practical conservation tasks, carrying out habitat surveys, and wildlife watching.

There will be be plenty of adventure as you develop team building skills, go canoeing on the ley and learn bushcraft skills in our woodland. This course is suitable for your Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential (always check with your DofE Leader before booking); but is open to anyone looking to get first-hand experience of conservation in action.

This course will be led by our experienced and enthusiastic field tutors.
