Creative craft courses this autumn
Whether you just want to try something a bit different when the nights draw in or you plan to make your own gifts for the festive season, autumn is a great time to try a craft course and learn new skill. The Field Studies Council (FSC) has a selection of short residential craft courses on offer at their field centres across the UK.
Calligraphy, stained glass, felt and basket making are among the selection of craft courses taking place this autumn. The crafty courses take inspiration from the natural world, with FSC centre locations carefully selected for their stunning surroundings from the majestic Yorkshire Dales to the Scottish Highlands.
Craft courses are always led by experienced tutors and based at a comfortable FSC centre. They offer participants a chance to relax as well as learn, and enjoy a beautiful setting in the company of likeminded people. With the course price including full board accommodation and travel during the course it also offers good value for money and no hidden extras.

FSC runs a programme of art and craft courses throughout the year and 2012 dates will soon be available. Keep checking the website or if you would like to receive a brochure when it becomes available please request a brochure by following the link below.
