Field Studies Council: Bringing Environmental Understanding to All

FSC win big with two environmental awards

Field Studies Council (FSC) are thrilled after winning twice in two days. The environmental education charity was crowned Best Newcomer at last night's Green Gown Awards, and then presented with a Green Apple Award this morning.

The awards represent FSC's strong commitment to improving sustainability through its 2020 Carbon Vision project

Watch the short video about the project here, produced for the Green Gown Award entry:

The Green Gown Awards were established in 2004 by the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC) to recognise great performance and best practice in the further and higher education sector. It is the most prestigious recognition of best practice in these sectors.

The Green Organisation launched their Green Apple Awards in 1994 and are considered as one of the most popular environmental campaigns.  FSC were winners in 2015 so it is an excellent achievement to be recognised again.

FSC staff collected the Green Gown Award at a special ceremony in Leicester last night with over 300 people present.
