New and improved KS3 biology programmes at EFFC

Epping Forest Field Centre is offering improved KS3 ponds and woodlands courses along with a new variation and classification course.

Epping Forest Field Centre’s Key Stage 3 ponds and woodlands courses have been re-vamped in order to offer students an even more valuable experience during their visit in learning about the ecological relationships in these fascinating habitats.

Following on from the success of the Geographical skills days which Epping Forest Field Centre offers for students, a KS3 Scientific skills day is now available during which students will gain practical experience in biological skills and techniques through small-scale fieldwork projects and using a range of equipment.

There is also a new ‘Variation and classification’ course, which offers an excellent opportunity for students to explore possibilities in classifying the massive variety of organisms in Epping Forest.

The Centre also offers a number of biology courses for students from Key Stage 1 to Higher Education.
