Field Studies Council: Bringing Environmental Understanding to All

Real Family Holidays on the Radio!

Did you hear Real Family Holidays on the radio near you?

As smartphones, tablets and electronics have become an essential part of our daily lives, the joys of being active outside and exploring our natural surroundings are being lost. Field Studies Council (FSC) aims to change this by providing opportunities for people of all ages to discover and experience the natural world. Real Family Holidays was set up in 2014 as an affordable, all-inclusive family holiday that enables families to spend quality time together outdoors in stunning natural locations.

We have been speaking on several local radio stations this week about the importance of family holidays, and the way Real Family Holidays have been set up to offer the same, affordable price whenever you book.

Fines for term time absences have been in the news again with the Supreme Court ruling that parents have to abide by school regulations about unauthorised absences. By offering reasonable, school holiday prices Real Family Holidays mean parents don't have to make a choice. The dates that we offer holidays are outside of school terms and the £30 per person per night price is the same no matter when or where you visit.

You may have heard Simon Ward from Real Family Holidays speaking on Share Radio, BBC Radio Lancashire, Star NE, Siren FM, North Manchester FM, BBC Radio Tees, SINO FM, Wycombe Sound, Lyca Radio and more.
