Safety first at FSC
FSC staff have been hard at work training on the latest Safety Week. The group of 28 spent three full days learning first aid at work and outdoor first aid skills.
The training took place at FSC Juniper Hall in Surrey and covered minor injuries, major injuries and illnesses. Participants then took part in scenarios to help practice their skills.
The staff also undertook risk management training covering FSC systems. The final day was spent on water safety, risk management near water and practicing shout-reach and throw rescue techniques.
For FSC it is vital that our staff are fully trained in all aspects of first aid and safety so visitors to our centres are kept safe.
