Fieldwork courses for IB Diploma Programme
FSC has developed specific fieldwork courses for the Internal Assessment element of the IB Diploma Programme. Courses are available for IB Diploma Biology, IB Diploma Geography and IB Diploma Environmental Systems and Societies. There are also courses with activities for Creativity, Action and Service (CAS).
Fieldwork investigations offer an opportunity to assess students for the Internal Assessment elements of these IB Diploma subjects. They also provide a valuable chance for students to experience learning in the outdoor classroom.
These courses are designed to meet IB syllabus requirements whilst offering the most cost effective way of visiting an FSC Centre. Courses can be offered at the Standard Level or Higher Level for the following IB Diploma subjects:
