Field Studies Council: Bringing Environmental Understanding to All

Key Stage 1 and 2

Cross curricular school field trips - see, explore and bring different environments to life

Field trips for schools are inspiring, fun and memorable for both pupils and teachers.  Courses have identified outcomes enabling teachers to quickly and easily book school field trips, safe in the knowledge that the field trip will be directly related to work taught in the classroom.

FSC school field trips are:

  • designed to deliver relevant aspects of the National Curriculum
  • led by fully trained and gifted field teachers
  • run at Centres which hold the Quality Badge from Learning Outside the Classroom.  Book with confidence knowing FSC consistently deliver high quality teaching and manage risk effectively

Field trips improve engagement, develop teamwork skills, boost confidence and cover elements of many curriculum subjects including science, geography, physical education and English, mathematics and citizenship.

FSC also offer:
Science field trips for schools at Key Stage 2
Geography field trips for schools at Key Stage 2
