What’s the link between a dog, a tree and you? The Beagle Project We are looking for UK schools to be involved in a pan European science project being delivered by FSC with partners in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Norway and Germany.
Olympic fieldwork in East London The 2012 Olympics is a unique opportunity to investigate geography in action – the transformation of a derelict river valley, urban regeneration on a grand scale, the potential for a sustainable Olympics. It’s all here in east London, to be seen and explored. It’s the sort of geography that excites students and can be turned into a great learning experience.

New Geography fieldwork programmes to meet the latest GCSE specification requirements including the controlled assessment

FSC have developed a new range of GCSE geography programmes, available from September 2009, specifically for the new A and B specifications for the following Awarding Bodies:

To view the GCSE geography fieldwork programmes and details of how they prepare students for the controlled assessment please click on your Awarding Body.

The purpose of each programme will be to:

Conduct GCSE geography fieldwork to enable students to plan and prepare for the controlled assessment in accordance with the Awarding Body’s guidance for their year of entry.
Use the outdoor classroom to explore content within the wider GCSE specification to put geography into a real world context.
