Spotted an interesting plant or animal on a country walk, but don't have your identification books with you? These apps could be the answer!

Field Studies Council is pleased to announce that three of our fold-out charts are now available as iPhone apps. Each guide has colour images, notes and background information to a range of common species. Ideal for use outdoors these guides will help you find out what lives in your local green places as well as ponds and streams.

The full version of Common British Trees is now available free of charge. Further apps can be downloaded for 69p each.
