Rocky shore communities has been used in draft form for many years by student visitors to FSC Field Centres. It includes large annotated images of four communities at different levels of the shore (splash zone, upper, middle and lower shore). Key organisms at each level are highlighted in detail.

Factors affecting zonation in rocky shores communities are discussed. A list of fieldwork hints is included.
