Local Community
Working in partnership with local organisations, we are able to provide a service
for the local community that includes youth and curriculum based workshops
as well as adult courses and initiatives. Our current projects include:
- Local Primary and Secondary Sustainability day and residential visits
- Saturday ‘Green Footsteps’ club for young children (ages 5-12)
- School holiday conservation and adventure courses for secondary age group
- Green garden waste compost scheme
- Adult workshops and Volunteering opportunities for adults – community gardening scheme.
By involving the whole community we can encourage a deeper understanding to the importance of sustainability and current environmental issues both locally and globally.
