Welsh Culture

We encourage visitors to immerse themselves in the Welsh culture. Approximately 50% of our staff here at the Centre speak Welsh as their first language, and Welsh is prominent within the local area. Cultural sustainability promotes the use of Welsh language and culture through recognising the bilingual culture of Wales and the Centre. We encourage staff, schools and the visitors to use the language, and organise special events such as traditional Folk Dancing nights and a Welsh language Orienteering course, add value to the experience at the Centre.
