Snowdonia

Welsh Language

We aim to be a Bilingual organisation, providing education in English and Welsh language.

We are situated in Snowdonia National Park, at the very heart of North Wales, and Welsh plays a very important role in the centre. It is not only spoken by our members of staff but is also the first language of many of the local schools and people of the area. Under the FSC’s banner of ‘Bringing Environmental Understanding to All’, we see Welsh language tuition and knowledge transfer as a key part of our plan for the future. It allows us to cater and indeed encourage integration and cooperation with local schools to make use of our services as well as build strong community based links for the future.

At the forefront of this is the Community and Sustainability Project funded by CAE, ENFYS and FSC. For more details, please phone the centre and ask for Delyth Philipps.
