Snowdonia
Experience a sustainable lifestyle in our Eco-Centre, a Georgian stone house in two hectares of wooded grounds in the Conwy Valley. From here you can explore many different habitats and environments in Snowdonia National Park, from glaciated valleys, rivers and wooded hillsides to coastal environments and sand dune ecosystems
Outdoor ClassroomRhyd-y-creuau offers a wide range of courses from the young to the young at heart. These incorporate a wide diversity of local sites from Snowdon, Morfa Harlech to Llanrwst and Betws-y-Coed. We run courses for Key Stage 2 up to University courses. Our AS and A-Level courses are very popular. All are tailored to meet the individual needs and specifications of the trip, whether it is Geography or Biology. We also run teacher training days for local schools, such as Sustainability Workshops linking these themes to National Curriculum and your program. Read More |

Professional DevelopmentThe FSC is committed to career development and professional training in the environment and is one of the UK's leading providers of taxonomic training. Each year we offer a wide range of courses, many of which are accredited and certified by awarding bodies, to help individuals develop their skills. Our courses are popular with the Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) and National Park staff.
