Buying to Help the FSC
By shopping with the FSC you can help us to achieve our vision of bringing environmental understanding to all. Income from course fees, publications and membership is vital because it helps us to be self sufficient, invest and improve our centres and services. It will also help us to support more children and young people who would otherwise not be able to come.
There are several ways you can help:
Attending an FSC course
Running field courses is at the heart of what the FSC does. Visits to our centres and 'hands on' environmental experiences are the way in which we hope to achieve our vision; they also provide most of our income. That is why every one of our 100,000 visitors has an important part to play
Browse through choice of over 600 natural history, arts and crafts courses
Buying publications
The FSC produces a range of publications to support its work in bringing environmental understanding to all. The profits from the sales of these publications are used to help the FSC further its work.
To minimise the effect on the environment we print on totally chlorine free, sustainably produced paper, using vegetable oil based inks. We are currently testing recycled papers and will start printing our fold-out charts on this in the near future.
