Adult Education Teachers – Training in Education for Sustainable Development

The overall aim of the project was to improve the quality of life and the environment through enhancing the quality of adult learning for sustainable development across Europe.  The project enhanced adult education teachers understanding of sustainable development, developed teachers’ skills to teach “education for sustainable development” using a variety of innovative approaches to learning, built  teachers’ capacity to enable learners to relate sustainable development to their learners personal and work lives, provided a support network and resources for continuous professional development related to education for sustainability and also encouraged adult education teachers to promoting sustainable development practise within their Institutes.
