Lessons from Nature: innovation towards teaching & learning for a green economy and society

The overall objective is to develop innovative approaches to sustainable development that builds the capacity of schools and teachers to prepare students to take an active role in building the green economy and society.  The project will result in

• More young people engaged in sustainable development
• More schools and teachers taking young people outside the classroom
• New pedagogical approaches to using the outdoor classroom for sustainable development
• New teaching resources that build the capacity of young people to actively engage in building the green economy and society
• Increased sharing or good practice between teachers, schools and education organisations

Increased understanding of the benefits of LOtC to delivering high quality learning
