It was a superb location. Great views, walks and wildlife. Millport is a superb destination. We enjoyed cycling around the island, kayaking, watching the dolphin and the gannets dive into the sea. I would recommend the Dancing Midge for French Toast. The FSC staff were all very polite, helpful and friendly.

Good breakfast. Amazing location. Lots of trails and walks nearby. walking distance to villages, forests and hill walks. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local areas and surroundings.

Stay with us in Yorkshire Dales
The location was stunning with wonderful beaches (Sandy/rock pools/fossil hunting) and beautiful walks close by. The house was steeped with history, and we really enjoyed using the games room. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very kind and helpful. As this is a residential centre set up for children we could relax with our 4 children. Thank you for a great stay!

The location is set up in the hill from Threlkeld Village with single track and steep at some points. The benefits of the location is the outstanding view and beautiful surrounding setting. Breakfast is a good old fry up which I’m happy with and coffee so not too sure if there were different options. The room, again, had an outstanding view, which was immaculately clean with tea and coffee and lovely shower and bathroom with towels provided. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

My family loved staying at Flatford Mill. You couldn’t ask for a more picturesque location, and there were plenty of outdoor activities at our doorstep. This is the perfect spot for anyone who appreciates nature and history. We’ll be returning.

Excellent value for money! Room was well-laid out and had plenty of amenities – ample storage space, table and bar stools, tea/coffee, private bathroom spacious and again lots of space! Very comfortable staying here. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Takeaway breakfast service during Covid-19 was set up very well and we ordered in advance and staff brought it to our rooms. Location is stunning – set in many hectares and lovely to wander around the grounds. Peaceful but easy to get to other places e.g. Shrewsbury. Would definitely stay here again!

The view from my room was amazing and breakfast was tasty. This was a great find, somewhere different and quirky. I really enjoyed The short walk into Dale where I had some lovely evening meals and an afternoon tea and the longer cliff walk was stunning!
