Level 2 training allows you to become a qualified Forest School Assistant.

This is an excellent option if you want to learn more about the theory and principles of Forest School, as well as gain a deeper understanding of tools, materials and working in woodland.

The Level 2 training takes place over four days.
This is a non-residential course.

Learners will also need to assist at three Forest School Sessions which they will arrange usually in their own setting.

This course is accredited by AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group.

This qualification is designed to enable learners to develop an understanding of the principles and ethos of Forest School. It will prepare learners for further study and employment in the outdoors. It is designed to meet the needs of school and college staff, youth workers, parent helpers, students and others in providing preparation for further development and study to becoming a Forest School Leader.

There is the option to complete ‘top up’ training to achieve a Level 3 qualification.

Minimum age: 18 (This is a Department for Education Requirement).
