Join us at our Amersham centre in Buckinghamshire for our fun school holiday activities for children and families.

Activities are based outdoors, and explore the natural world. The sessions are a mix of games and activities that will inspire you to find out more and discover how you can help wildlife on your doorstep. To take part you do not need any experience or any expensive kit, just an enthusiasm for being outside and discovering nature.

Eco Tots: For families with children age 18 months – 5 years. Children under 12 months are welcome if accompanying a paying sibling. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Eco Explorers: For children aged 5 years – 8 years.

Eco Adventurers: For children aged 8 years – 11 years.

Eco Champions: Events for families with children over the age of 7. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Family Nature Days: Events for families with children of any age. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Discovery Days: Events for families with children of any age. Children must be accompanied by an adult. These are free to attend for adults and children but please book your place if you intend on coming along.

Santa’s Winter Woodland: This event is for families with children of any age. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

John Muir Award: For young people age 10+. This is a 4 day course where children are unaccompanied at our non-residential day centres.

Forest School Sessions for Eco Tots: Suitable for ages 18 months – 5 years old. Children under 12 months are welcome if accompanying a paying sibling. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum 2 children per adult (including non-participating) Find out more

Forest School Sessions for home education students: Suitable for children age 7+ but children of school age can be accommodated. Find out more.

Nature Champions: The Amersham Nature Champions project aims to increase engagement with the natural world for members of the Amersham community, by providing fun and educational sessions based at Amersham Field Centre and is a part funded project with Wild Amersham and Sustainable Amersham. Available for those who live in the Amersham Community Board area (Amersham, Chesham Bois, Little Chalfont and Coleshill).

Birthday Parties: At Amersham we can host your birthday party. They run after school, at weekends and in school holidays (depending on availability and centre) and include a range of outdoor activities with an indoor space for your party food. Find out more.
