Breaking down barriers for school children

Our charity has 100 schools waiting to access nature, but can’t afford tutors and travel. 

These schools want their children to understand and protect life and landscapes, but face barriers to attending environmental education.  

The Field Studies Council (FSC) gives grants to these disadvantaged schools to attend day and residential courses at our special learning locations in the UK. FSC delivers 11,000 school classes each year.
