AQA Specification

These GCSE courses are designed for those following the AQA specification. Students will be given the opportunity to develop their understanding of the kinds of questions that can be investigated through fieldwork and develop their own questions based on their location and the task. These courses are specific to AQA and cover what is needed for the qualification.

GSCE River Landscapes1 day

Students will have an opportunity to develop understanding of the kinds of questions that can be investigated through fieldwork in river environments and have an opportunity to develop a question(s) based on their location and the task. Fieldwork will involve comparing a meander with a straight channel section on the field centre’s chosen river. The investigation will include both qualitative and quantitive fieldwork techniques.
