Food

At Dale Fort, all of our food is prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients with the emphasis in providing healthy and hearty meals for all of our guests. We use local reputable suppliers who provide ingredients of the highest quality. We have a variety of hot wholesome meals including a vegetarian option. We strive to maintain the high standards of our five star food hygiene rating at all times. If you have any special food requirement please let a member of staff know before you arrive at Dale Fort Centre as we pride ourselves in recognising all food allergies and catering for all. Don’t forget to bring a lunch box and a flask for any day trips out.

Accommodation

We believe at Dale Fort that all our guests should feel welcome and at home. As we realise some of our younger guests can feel vulnerable as it’s their first time away from loved ones. We strive to achieve the best and that’s why we have friendly staff that are always on hand to help.

Dale Fort Field Centre is a converted Victorian Military Fort situated in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It is surrounded by the sea, in a spectacular cliff-top setting overlooking Milford Haven waterway.

Dale Fort is made up of four blocks, A, B, C and D block.

Dale Forts accommodation is separated into three blocks, B, C and D. Altogether we can fit a hundred and thirty six beds in. Currently we have nine twin rooms and one single room, as teaching staff have a twin room as a single. We have twenty two dormitory rooms throughout the three blocks all various sizes. Fourteen rooms are en suite, yet bathroom facilities are never far from rooms that are not en suite. We have four rooms in the D block that have easy access one with disabled facilities and then another four rooms in _ block on the first floor with lift access.  

Here at Dale we have the perfect relaxing areas for all groups. We have the adult lounge area, which has a television, comfy sofas and a drinking making facilities. Located next door is our separate bar, The Lord Hurcomb, which has table and chairs a small television. We sell alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and snacks. Our shop is located in the bar as well this is where you can buy toiletries, souvenirs, publications and many more. The student common room located the next door has lots of entertainment including a pool table, piano, a television and DVD player and assorted board games, books and playing cards.  Perfect for relaxing after a hard day out in the field. If the weather is good then we have decking area and picnic tables with picturesque views across Milford Haven. Hot and cold drinking facilities are found around the Centre and cake is available most days. 

We have four workrooms and a Library that can be used as a workroom or conference room. All have interactive whiteboards and WiFi access. Multi-media projection facilities are also available and laptops and iPad.

Dale Fort Centre is the ideal location for any school group or adult group, with sea views, anyone who stays with us is simply inpired by nature and can't wait to come and stay again.
