Do you enjoy the natural world and being outdoors?

Explore our opportunities for young people aged 16 - 18

Our programme of residentials are for young people aged 16-18. They offer a packed five-day experience at one of our UK locations, exploring and learning about the outdoor environment.

We are passionate about encouraging and nurturing young people who have an interest in the natural world and the outdoors, to help them develop their skills and knowledge and perhaps consider it as part of their career choices.

Residentials include conservation, climate change, marine science and other subject specific courses for undergraduates or younger students considering their future study or career paths.

Our young people residentials are for 16-18 year olds and are eligible for Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential and some are also eligible for the John Muir Award.

Residentials with us also help you to:

  • Develop your passion
  • Have fun in the outdoors
  • Meet others with similar interests
  • Help with your study or career choices and CV or UCAS applications
  • Gain knowledge, transferable skills and experience
