Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve

FSC is the lead partner for the Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve partnership with Natural England, Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust and South Hams District Council. The partners meet at the Slapton Committee to oversee the management of the National Nature Reserve. www.slnnr.org.uk

Slapton Line

FSC contributes to the Slapton Line Partnership to co-ordinate management of the important coast road along Slapton Line following coastal erosion in 2001 and its closure for 3 months. Partners include South Hams District Council, South Devon AONB, Devon County Council, Natural England, Environment Agency and Whitley Wildlife Trust. www.slaptonline.org

South Devon AONB

FSC contributes to the South Devon AONB partnership. The care and management of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is co-ordinated by a broad partnership of organisations and community representatives. The Partnership Committee takes a strategic view of the area, publishes the AONB Management Plan and oversees the work of the AONB Staff Unit. www.southdevonaonb.org.uk

Devon Wildlife Trust

FSC works in partnership with Devon Wildlife Trust to host the Wildlife Watch Group. The group meets monthly and members take part in a variety of activities and events, all aimed at helping young people learn more about the wildlife around us.
