Learn the art of printing with geli plates. This is a really enjoyable way to print without a printing press! No experience is needed, just your enthusiasm and a desire to learn!
We will be using lots of found recyclable items to print with. This can include flowers and grasses from around the surrounding Mill landscape.
No drawing skills are needed to create colourful, textured images. There will be lots of opportunity to experiment with shapes and layers, it’s great fun!
You’ll finish with some amazing artwork on both paper and canvas boards to take home and enjoy!
About the tutor
Being born in Colchester, I studied at Colchester Art School & then went on to do my Degree at Winchester School of Art. I have always had a love of history and where things come from. I enjoy working with lots of different textures, mediums and colours. I feel really lucky to live and work in such a beautiful place, along the River Stour and the surrounding areas of Flatford and Dedham.
The Stour’s wildlife and nature is abundant both on, in and along its’ banks, now being recognised as an “Area of Outstanding Beauty”. Great for a local Artist like me, for inspiration all year round!
