Geography and biology fieldwork at Flatford Mill are tailored to curriculum requirements and packed with relevant fieldwork content. This experience will provide insight into how fieldwork and practicals are delivered at our centres and allow reflection on your delivery model and teaching.

Day 1
- Arrival
- Welcome talk, tour of centre and discussion around barriers to and benefits of fieldwork.
- Lunch
- Typical outdoor activity 1- immersion in ecology (bio) or landscape interpretation (geog)
- Tour of centre
- Dinner and overnight stay
- Option of going to pub/Campfire
Day 2
- Breakfast
- Top tips for outdoor learning/outdoor wellbeing (workshop/CPD)
- Outdoor activity 2 – measuring biodiversity of a habitat (bio) or investigating place (geog)
- Lunch
- Round up – what’s next and how to book
- Depart
