Geography fieldwork residential
The geography fieldwork courses are tailored to curriculum requirements for GCSE, A Level, National, Higher, IB and lower secondary specifications and packed with relevant fieldwork content. This experience will provide insight into how fieldwork is delivered throughout the Field Studies Council and allow reflection on your fieldwork delivery model and teaching

Itinerary
Day 1
- Arrival
- Welcome talk
- Lunch
- Trip out to Morecambe to look at our coasts and an urban site, try out a few techniques valid for both GCSE and A-level and discuss how the space can be used for NEA data collection.
- Tour of centre
- Dinner and overnight stay
- Option of going to pub/Campfire
Day 2
- Breakfast
- Top tips for outdoor learning/outdoor wellbeing (workshop/CPD)
- Water & Rivers -Trip to our local river, where we can try out techniques suitable for GCSE and A-level. Then try out some water cycle fieldwork on centre.
- Packed lunch
- Round up – what’s next and how to book
- Depart
