Discover how the natural world and activity in it can support creative and safe emotional expression. Learn about the four core emotions and our relationship to them. The day will explore techniques to empower your personal and professional life as a Forest School Leader, educator, teacher, trainer, youth worker, etc. This course provides a real practical way of working with emotional intelligence and supporting self-esteem and other emotional well-being programmes for your learners in the outdoors.
Jon Cree FSC Trainer, Bishops Wood. Jon has over thirty years’ experience as an environmental and earth educator and trainer. His passion is helping others ‘get in touch’ with the natural world through dynamic learning programmes and hand-on learning experiences. He has been part of the institute for Earth Education for almost 30 years and a trainer for 20. For many years global learning has underpinned his education work, working particularly with Teachers in Development Education (TIDE). Jon has worked at Bishops Wood since 1998.
