Autumn offers a richness of colour with turning leaf tones against clear sky blues to invigorate our image-making. Enjoy exploring a range of materials and techniques to capture the surrounding autumn landscape. Working en plein air we will gather subject vignettes that can be developed back in the studio at Flatford.

Jevan's teaching approach is simultaneously gentle and rigorous. He is an alumnus of the Royal Drawing School where he received First Prize for his drawings from city farms. His drawing practice ranges from sensitive and energetic studies of plants and people in the landscape to working on long term collaborative drawing projects with communities such as Facing-Recovering with injured soldiers.
