A fantastic opportunity to explore some of our best public gardens of Suffolk and Essex through drawing and painting en plain air and back at the Flatford studio. Summer gardens give us intense colour and exuberant growth that break out of their formal elements creating expressive potential. Enjoy exploring a range of materials and techniques to record and develop the summer-time garden.

Jevan's teaching approach is simultaneously gentle and rigorous. He is an alumnus of the Royal Drawing School where he received First Prize for his drawings from city farms. His drawing practice ranges from sensitive and energetic studies of plants and people in the landscape to working on long term collaborative drawing projects with communities such as Facing-Recovering with injured soldiers.
