Painting water in all its many forms can sometimes be perceived as a testing subject. Th is four-day course, aimed at all abilities, is designed to take a closer look at how to depict this ever-changing, fascinating subject, using watercolours and/or acrylics. Day one will be spent in the studio, practising and improving techniques through a series of exercises; then, weather permitting, we will be working outside painting the river Stour, the Mill pool, or the weir at Flatford or further afield painting the estuary around Manningtree. On several evenings after supper there will be a demonstration.
