shown how to get help with identification and all things spidery
There will be classroom sessions and practice at identifying spiders in the field.
Please note: this course is aimed at adults only and is not suitable for children.
Holly Dillon joined the FSC in January 2018 as a biodiversity trainee and is now the BioLinks Project Assistant. Holly's background is in conservation biology. She's had a keen interest in invertebrates since a child and took this further whilst studying for her Masters. She was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to spend three months studying invertebrate decomposer species in the rainforests of Malaysian Borneo for her Masters research project. After this, she joined the FSC as a trainee, spending 12 months developing her invertebrate ID skills for British species.
This course is heavily subsidised by the FSC BioLinks Project (funded by the Heritage Fund).
